FedEx- Europe disputed pairings coming to MEM

It's hard to tell but I was thinking the same thing. It was odd to see guys assigned the trip that didn't have any reserve but had a red RELEASE line just before the trip. I wonder what the company is up to.
Glad it stayed in there so long. The Captains did better.

It was a draft for the FO. I talked to scheds about it. There were 2 pairings. One hotel standby in CDG and the other incorporating the disputed pairing. I was on B Rsv with enough days to cover either and expected to get switched to A or A+ and assigned on one of the trips, but some dummy in scheduling put me on an Arpt Standby. So instead of drafting an Arpt Standby for 4:44CH and paying me 1:30CH for the reserve switch, they drafted a captain for the CDG hotel standby trip for 59+ CH. At least the Capt on the disputed pairing was on A+ reserve.
