I tried the search but no joy.
How do I download the FOM and other FedEx docs from the website to my iPad ?

Once you open the PDF file on your iPad, touch the middle of the screen, in the top right of the document, it will say, "open in IBooks", or "open in". If you select the second one it should give you a goodreader option. Another way is to use Dropbox from your computer.

ReaddleDocs is another reader. I find it has more features and it unzips the LIDO chart downloads. Reads Excel and Word files also. Has a built in browser (as does GoodReader) so you don't have to use two apps (Safari and Readdle) to open and save files. Readdle also works well on the iPhone. I tend to keep items in both Readdle and GoodReader. Allows me to quickly switch between two different documents. The latest Readdle update has made that less important though as switching between recent documents is much faster.

Good Reader can use iCloud, not sure about Readdle.

Good Reader now works GREAT with iCloud and Mt Lion. Get access to library/mobile documents on your MAC and store all you docs there, both fedex and other. Use Preview to view them on your MAC. Then pick and choose which you want local on iPhone and/or iPad. Good reader lets you choose and then you can even 'evict' and get back your storage space on you iOS device, but still have the doc in the cloud, readily accessible and still on your Mac. Any highlighting goes back and forth between all devices, mac included! Great for marking up the contract or FOM.

Check out AT&T or Verizon shared data plans. If you have several smartphones and tablets in your family you might save some big bucks. Just switched mine.
