FDX 2013 Pilot Benefits Enrollment
Just opened my FDX Benefits Enrollment Guide to do some research. When I got to the information on the HCSA (Health Care Spending Account), I found the following note:
"As part of the Affordable Care Act (Health Care Reform), the maximum amount you can contribute to the HCSA in 2013 is changing from $5000 to $2500."
Due to my wife's battle with breast cancer, we regularly exceed $5000 in out-of-pocket medical expenses each year. This reduction means we get to pay (at least) another $1000 in taxes next year. Another Obamacare 'benefit'. Thank you, Mr. President.

But it's not a tax! Unless you're arguing in front of the Supreme Court, then you bet it's a tax. And then it mysteriously becomes not-a-tax on the campaign trail. But now it's a tax for us next year. I guess you're not a 47%-er?

I guess this administration figures, if you can afford to contribute to an HSA, you don't need an HSA.

However, on a serious note.. I feel Bama's pain and have "been there and done that." The best we can do is VOTE this turd out of the WH and I pray that things work out for good for you and your family Bama.

Hey. Only a "rich" person could afford to have $5k taken out of their pay for a HCSA. How dare you expect a benefit that everybody can't afford. You must be a 1%er.

I am confused, alpa told me they protected my health care from obamacare taxes in an email supporting the pac over the weekend. Of course they said they defeated the 40% tax on cadillac plans, when they meant to say they delayed it till 2018. But I just figured that was hyperbole.

And many more wonderful surprises in the 2000+ page government takeover of 1/6 of the economy. Good health Bama!
