Default FDX Email Migration Tool (Problems)

Three attempts-all unsuccessful. Anyone else having trouble?
Nothing migrated at all.

"Imap2Exchange Mailbox synchronization completed with errors"

"An error has occurred while copying your email. This could be caused by a corrupt email message, a nested folder (folder within a folder), or a folder that has "repaired" in the name."

Are you sure? They will not appear in another folder, unless you had named folders besides the default Inbox. Instead, they will just be attached chronologically to the Outlook inbox. Scroll to the bottom of your inbox list of messages and see if you have the messages.

I got the same error message but many (it doesn't seem like all?) of my emails transferred?

Got the same errors. Was told by an IT email that there was a password sync problem causing this. Changed my password and all is well.

Same error here - transferred the stuff I wanted and some emails that had been completely deleted years ago

So, that paper trail exists, no matter how hard you try to remove it

Also: it took about 24 hours before my inbox resembled anything useful after the transfer!

It's been more than 24 hours now since I 'migrated' my email to the new system. It looks like my 'sent' mail transferred back to 2003, but my 'INBOX' only transferred back to 2010?

Suggestions?

got the same message, and replied asking for a fix.

Got an automated email back with a trouble ticket #, and it was fixed in a few days. Outlook web access now has all my old emails, and sent items.

I had no nested folders or corrupt files either, so there was some kind of glitch , but it was fixed.

I just deleted everything. Nothing to migrate. No problem!
