FLL to Terminal....

I'm planning a J/S to FLL next month for a vacation. Is it easy to get from FDX ramp to the pax. terminal? That way being a cheap airline pilot I can take the free hotel shuttle service!

If it's not easy I'll just cab it to the hotel, either way any info. would be appreciated.

FDX pad is over on the executive hangar side. I am sure you could grab a hotel pickup from National Jets or one of the other FBO's.

Your best bet is to try and hop a ride with the crew or another jumpseater. Cabs don't like to come to the ramp in FLL. I've had long waits there for cabs.

Being that your ramp is on the north side of the airfield, like Pielut, you may wanna try one the other tenants close to you.

Catch a ride with the crew to the hotel, if thats where you're staying great. If not there is a cab stand in front of the hotel and you will be closer to the beach hotel area.

Seriously? I don't know which is worse, this or the Delta Captain digging in the trash in the A T L looking for a USA Today.
