Or better yet....Move the pitot heat switches to the engineer panel and nail a loafer to the First Officer's foot rest...Originally Posted by MaydayMark

Exactly, Emirates has many routes less than 4 hours. Some 45 minutes.Originally Posted by HazCan

Have to agree with Redeye, going to miss them too. My biggest regret was that I never flew it, just a 'plumber' for a few years.Originally Posted by CloudSailor

Pardon my ignorance, but has anyone looked into putting winglets on the 777? As efficient as the 777 is already, just curious if winglets would make it even more efficient.Originally Posted by HazCan

The designers built it with raked wingtips which offer some benefits over winglets. Originally Posted by Lab Rat

Slackers.
Back in my plumber days we had an afternoon takeoff out of Billings in the summertime. Our stop margin was something generous like 7 or so.
As he pushed up the power the captain looked at the FO and I and said "Gentlemen, the only way we are getting airborne today is due to the curvature of the Earth. Set max power."
Bring on those UAL 757s I say.

They could alway make the gear handle about 3 feet longer and remove the FO seat so the S/O can reach the handle.Originally Posted by MaydayMark
