Yeah, I was wondering about that. How would that work? Would they have to publish a MEM 767 bid pack with only 757 flying in it? Would they do that; pay WB pay for flying they already have pilots to do at NB pay?

Think it would be cheaper to pay em WB rates to fly nothing and buy up their lines?

Yes, they would!

I have no idea how the feds classify the 767 in relation to the 757, but didn't they have a bunch of trouble with things like consolidation and what the feds considered abuse of the green on green new type exemptions for the 757? Perhaps that factors into it.

Depends on what you call a history. Bids 08-03, 09-01 and 09-04 were all canceled.

Bids 08-01 and 08-02 had vacancies and excesses in them at the same time.

So do you believe that the programming logic is unable to manage both vacancies and an excess in a single bid?

Why not just tell us why they won't do them both together?
Sounds like recent history.

I wonder how 4-8 crews per month relates to the total capacity of 757/767 training. It would seem like that is going to dramatically impact 757 training.

The bid shows equal capt and FO. Usually you have a certain percentage more in left seat than you right seat. Guess they will run 767 Capt seat light as everybody speculated.

Why not? Didn't we just give them a fresh supply of 757 Captains to man the 767?

Just like in the 75 now 195 CA to 193 FO! In reality that is a higher percentage of CA to FO

Uh, the FAA did that when they made them a common type.
