Yes, we also have a 75 bidpack consisting of 75 trips that pay NB pay - sort of makes sense since we call the 75 a NB. If those 75 guys (who either can't hold 76 or chose the 75 for other reasons) actually operate a 76 on just one leg, they get WB for the trip. Another good thing, IMO.

Like I said, that's good! Do you think that would be the case if we left it up to the company?
And I want to birdie every hole I play, free 25 year old single-malt waiting in every hotel limo and get drafted for every trip until I retire. If we were building flight ops from the ground up starting tomorrow, I'd agree with you. The single pay rate train is forever stuck at the station and we're miles down the track with our NB/WB situation. Reality sucks. Let's fight a battle we can actually win.

Is keeping the NB payrate wrong because our progression has slowed? Progression has slowed all over. We used to have a lot of crew members on narrowbody SO and FO pay and some on widebody SO pay. Express flying is not growing like it used to. It would be great to return to the recent past of pay raises you wanted them. FO in a year, widebody FO in two and CA in five.
The single pay rate would help fill in the gap that we have in our career earnings due to slower progression. Nice dream. But those who seriously propose this must account for the cost.

The biggest opposition for a single payrate has come from our own leadership

Per the fleet captain:
The first B767 bid pack will be published for the September bid month. It will contain regular lines, secondary lines and reserve lines. All flying will be in the 757 until November when the first 767 is introduced to line operations. The plan for the first three aircraft is: ATL-MEM-ATL, SJC-MEM-SAN, SAN-MEM-SJC, and SAN-IND-SAN. As with all plans, this is subject to change.
