I am glad they are taking in a lot of revenue, but how are they on expense?

Actually it's the opposite, Ground doesn't make half the revenue of Express. Last quarter revenue at Express was $6.6 billion compared to $2.7 billion for Ground. But Ground is growing while Express is shrinking.

Express revenue of 6.61B with operating income of 231M. Ground revenue of 2.73B with income of 468M.

Those are the results from the first quarter. Still, Ground is doing well because of the service mindset that's transferred over from Express.

Have a friend who works in Corporate and she says FedEx Express is charged for the lions share of income for FedEx Services. Services then provides support for the FedEx spin offs. Not sure if this is true but would not be surprised.
