Default UPS's SonicAir

Can anyone fill me in on this branch a little better? You can ship packages same day from one point to another. So why do companies mess with 135 operators doing the same bit. I just did a price check on their website to send something from here to Ohio and prices weren't bad.

20lb package from Del Rio, Tx to Colombus, OH would take 14hrs 50min and cost $1079.00 That's from Del Rio. Sounds like good service to me. For 190lbs it would be $1200. They showed $2.30 per mile for the air, $45 base, .10 per mile fuel surcharge. What do most 135 operators chare per mile in the lear's and falcons?
