Must be that new math.

Tony, what about dog years? Mark is a freight dawg and Kilo is not. I'm too tired to do the math but add in the 7 year to every one equation for dog years. Your better than "the great big book of everything" I really enjoy your knowledgable posts.

Oh, man, I didn't even think about that. This equation just took on a whole new level of difficulty.

Hey hey hey there.... I'm going to regionals (hopefully). Lets show a little bit of respect. It's part of the stepping stone process to gain seniority so we can THEN beat down on the little people. But don't do that till I'm no longer a little people. Then bash away!

Calm down. These peeing matches are getting old for those of us who have learned to stay out of them.

Great... You found one. You can find a few on Boeing, MD, Lockheed, ect. You've never touched one. You did however giveup a higher paying jet job for a lower paying SAAB340 job...

Let me show you a little math that should have made your decision easier.

3yrs at Colgan Air= total income of $92,700 based on upgrade time found on APC. You would be a captain at Colgan for 2 years with no jet experience.

3yrs at ExpressJet= Total income of $99,000 or $105,300 based on which aircraft you become captain in. You would be a captain for 1 year.

ExpressJet would pay you an average of $2,100 or $4,200 more per year and you'd have jet experience. Why you had a job offer at Express and dropped it for Colgan is beyond me. That's if you really were offered one

I only point this out because after reading your several post I've come to the conclusion that you think far less than I do, which is seriously saying something. Perhaps before just tossing out this big crazy rant or smart remark to anyone justification should be included. You say airbus sucks yet have no knowledge on them. Now think for a minute.... If CaptainMark said they suck, having flown them, I'll buy it. But I'm not going to listen to a guy who makes some seriously bad choices. I'm a Boeing fan because it's american, keeps jobs in the US, and they are proven.

That being said... I'll make a $10 paypal wager we see Kilo at Go-Jets, Mesa, or something close.

What I do know is the Saab 340 has never been hit by SA-7 and landed. The Airbus has; Airbus hit by SAM over Baghdad.
