Is that the definition of a 'good will gesture' ???

Don't worry, the company is starting to lose a lot of goodwill with the entire pilot group. New actions and policies have created some irreversible damage. Once again, management will be credited with the increase in ALPA solidarity. They have forgotten the concept of not leaning too hard on the people you rely on. We do a darn good job moving the freight, and get slapped in the face as a thank you. And I've always kinda concidered myself kindof a company man, yikes!

If the company is just now starting to lose goodwill we are in a heap o trouble! The slaps on the face have been going on for years!

The company just weathered another Peak Season with our pilot group clawing for Draft/Vol and extra at straight pay... Hold on cause a new contract will be awhile IMO unless we give significantly on our positions... Now if we could just have one peak season after our contract was up without doing all the extra flying we'd be in business. What a dream!

My emphasis was on the word "entire", more so than the word "starting". There has always been 35% feeling slapped in the face, now I would call that number closer to 90%.
