FedEx guy here, looking at vacation travel to HKG and prefer the UPS hotel over FedEx's. Looking to get UPS HKG crew hotel rate information so I have a basis of seeing if I can get something near that. PMs are great if you prefer to share information that way.
Thanks in advance.

Everything about our hotel sucks with the exception of the location, and your hotel has an equally good location.

I must be way out of date then! Another pilot told me he thought UPS stayed at the Intercontinental. Since the FedEx hotel has been the same for a long time, I guess I made a bad assumption about yours?Guess I need to make it out more often!!!

Raptor, our last hotel was the Holiday Inn Golden mile. We changed a year or so ago to the Panorama (aka Paranormal), it's a 3 star at best with micro sized rooms. You might check out the Langham Place in Mong Kok, it's a very nice hotel and sometimes has some great deals with breakfast, spa, etc... included. I've stayed there on my own a couple of times.

Some airlines have crew at the Grand Hyatt Wan Chai, which is ideally located for a tourist. Not sure they offer crew rates, but worth asking.
Try the Marriott Sky City or Airport Regal, for a decent crew rate. 25 mins to town on the Airport Express, and likely to be a fair bit cheaper.

The handler picks the hotel for K4, but we use the Panorama, Mira and the Shangri- La. All are within a few blocks of each other and the latter two are nice properties. As far as the Panorama goes see above. The only thing it really has going for it is that all rooms face the harbor and the views from floor 28 and above are pretty nice.

Renaissance Harbor View Hotel in Wan Chai gives us a crew rate, depending on how full they are. Great hotel.
The airport hotel (Regal) gives us a good rate, and 50% off on food and drink, and is physically connected to the airport. This hotel is too far out for the vacation, but if you have an early flight out in the morning, you can take the train out to the airport the night before and save a lot of hassle getting going in the morning.
