At "Bon Jovi's" you should be able to get fried rice, tempura shrimp, and all the gyoza you can eat. Or, you could go to Pig-n-Whistle for some good fish-n-chips.

Which would be quite convenient if we stayed at the Righa Royal.

But we don't anymore.

...Fortunately.

To avoid spending $50 in KIX go native and you'll save big bucks. A bowl of rice is cheap even in Osaka.

Don,

You've gotta get over being cheap! Especially on Freds' nickel. For those of us lucky enough to be on the road (doing company business) over Christmas, Jack has authorized us to spend $35 (domestic) and $50 (int'l) for a dinner, either on Christmas day, the day before or the day after (your choice.) This is for food, and specifically, not for drinks (unless of course you can get it all on one bill, without showing the liquor.) This charge should be put on the company card and submitted with your normal expense report.

Here's part of the fcif:

The rules are (rules mean you have
to do it...they're like laws except I can bend them):
1) Christmas Day meal only.
2) Can't be in a city where you live...it's for away-from-home pilots only.
3) $35 domestically, i.e., CONUS, and $50 internationally. That's it, no
waivers, excuses, or clever currency conversions.
4) Alcohol can't be included, and the bill must be for food....no greens
fees or massages...HO-HO-HO....
5) Must use your Company Diners Club/MasterCard Card.
6) No group charges, only one person per charge.
7) If you're airborne on the 25th (HNL-SYD), or get in too late for a
reasonable meal on the 25th, or nothing's open, pick the 24th or 26th, your
choice.

Actually, I figured I'd just go with the ramen noodles and a warm Sprite, and save the company some $.
