Right now the voices are telling me to get a job somewhere other than UPS.

Seems like reasonable advice.

sure, I have no information to indicate otherwise.

So you're saying that with most people, you always believe that they're lying to you, unless they can prove otherwise? Interesting. I'd be surprised if you can pass one of those personality tests with that attitude. However, your avatar is hot, so at least you've got that going for you.

I think with that attitude, satpak, you would be a shoo-in for an ACP position...LOL

Can70,
Sorry to hear about your experience, but just to let you know, 2 buds of mine from my C-17 squadron with similar qualifications as you, failed the test as well. One was a UPS legacy (His Dad retired from here). I'm just glad they didn't do this test when I interviewed.

I've taken those personality tests, the results always come back negative. :p

26 years as an employee plus 3 years flying brown and white jets as a contractor and I can fairly say this place has become about as dicked-up as possible without going out of business. It is no longer the UPS I joined years go. We have seen our heyday and it is a distant image in the rear view mirror. Listening to management brag about their success reminds be of Obummer's non-stop rant about his virtues.

It was a computer based test. A hundred-plus true/false questions such as "I like to spend the evening reading." "I was good at math when I was a child." "My friends think I'm adventurous." I'm decidedly introverted. These types of tests consistently say that I would be happiest as a librarian, which I always thought was stupid..........

Have you applied at United?

I love when people say airplanes like a C-130 don't count because it's not "jet time". What is so special about jet time? As a single seat and now heavy "jet" pilot, I can tell you, there's a lot more to flying a turbine powered prop airplane than flying a jet. It's a lot like people saying, "well, he doesn't have any glass time". Guess what...glass is easier too!!!!
