Unfortunately I can't log on. I touch the fxcal icon, the orange page comes up for a second, and disappears. Never had this problem before. Thinking of maybe uninstalling and reinstalling it, if I can figure out how to do that. I'm not too great at tech.

Having problems also with my laptop and ipad. Nothing major or related. Maybe it's the skilled hackers from North Korea, taking us down for that dumb movie coming out.

Before the delete/re-install, try pushing the home button twice to show all open apps on your phone. scroll to the fxcal page. swipe upward to close out the app. then push the home button to return. Turn your phone off, and then back on. try opening fxcal

Dang, didn't work. Thanks, though, it was worth a try.

iOS7 or better is required.
But you do need to upgrade to 4.9.0
The file that defines company bid months expired today for earlier versions.
Please check that you are running 4.9.0 (FxBidLite 4.9.1)

That must be the problem. Someone else has the same exact problem as I do today. I just uninstalled my fxcal, and was going to reinstall. So to put this in basic terms, should I go to the app store and purchase 4.9.0 now?

When you visit App Store it should show the update for FxCal available. No extra purchase involved.

I don't know if it will show now for an update, since I deleted it. But I don't mind repurchasing, because this app has made me tens of thousands of dollars better off and given me LAX standbys instead of am out and backs. If the app dude took a percentage of our gains, he could retire right now.

Thanks for the kudos!!
But you should not have to repurchase.
If you have deleted it, it should show download with no charge.

Please check your Apple ID for iTunes and App Store. It needs to be the same one as your original purchase. I think Apple is making it harder to get updates if your Apple ID is changed. Lots of folks had Apple change it without them really choosing to during the upgrade to iCloud a couple years ago.

If you do not have the same Apple ID for that Library you might try Family Sharing and make the old Apple ID a family member so you can load songs, apps, videos from other family libraries. I have not done this yet, but that is the idea.

Thanks for the info. I think I'm going to download the iOS 8 so I can get the new stuff.

You should not have to buy any dinner or drinks on your layovers for the rest of your career. You have enhanced my life immensely.
