The slowdown at the Ports of Seattle and Tacoma have been going on for a while now. The most immediate impact is horrendous traffic jams on the freeways and arterials near the ports. I don't look forward to what's next should this continue or get slower or stop altogether.

I was downwind for SEATAC last week and they had container ships anchored around Blake Island and just out of the Ferry lanes to Bremerton - lots of them!

Wonderful to see a union that actually has leverage, and can use it!
