They fly 580 & 5800 Convairs, 727's and Falcon 20's. Call the number on the website iflgroup.com for information and if they are hiring. Never hurts to drop off resume there, they hire multiple times per year.

Wow this is really old but figured i would reply anyway I just got hired there on the Falcon outta my hometown of MFE. Seems like great gig and really looking foward to it, if your wondering about pay guarantee of 24k for an FO then 10 cents a mile, you have a 9k mile guarantee every 2 weeks avg. trip is 2600 miles and we avg. about 5 trips a week. then 25 an hour for sit time, 75 for loose load, 25 per diem for an out and back, 35 for an overnight, and 100 for a border crossing which we do maybe 3-5 month. So anyway you can do the math just depends how much you wanna work other FO has been here only 11 months and already broken 55k however he was the only FO for about 5 months, sounds too good to be true I know. You can believe it or not Ill just leave it at that.

Schedule... Monday 8am til Sat 8am... 20min on call. Work a weekend everyother month or so. Sucks for some. But where else can you be at home and get paid for it? And heaven for bid they call you twice in one week at 3am and you have to put 20 hours of total work time for a week plus bonus pay...

Thanks for the insight on the schedule, I have not made it to the line yet. Talking to the guys at my base said maybe twice a month they get middle of the night rush to the airport type calls. I know some people will tell you what you want to hear so you will take the job, that was my experience when i almost took the Convair gig out of another south TX base. The person made it sound so glamorous blah, blah, blah. I guess the guy forgot i told him I was born and raised in the area I know its nothing like that. Anyway im looking foward to it, it is on demand so you have to stay flexible oh well. and yea those Falcons are one of the nicest cargo planes i have ever seen.
