Never forget the fire dept is all about the potential fire on the plane. NOT a healthy crew. They want to get people off and fight the fire. Off and uninjured off sometimes are two different things.
I heard they ignored the FO lying on the ground in pain and just wanted everyone else to get off the plane by coming down the same slide that just injured the first guy.

I sincerely hope the FO is doing well, and it was a minor injury.
However, any injury at all, he really needs to not be using his sick leave, this is a definitive workers comp injury. Anything more than minor, FedEx could be looking at a lawsuit, for the typically defective slide. Has it ever worked in any emergency evacuation?

I also heard the FO on this flight broke 3 vertebrae.
Rumor control should have put this to bed by now, instead of leaving us all wondering what happened, but what have we heard?
