You will work 15 or 19 days (4 or 5 week months). The job is very commutable if you have a good scheuduler, and that's luck of the draw. I was not a pro, but a flex who commuted for 2 years.

My bad

Like Tony said, since you were a flex, you worked 15 or 19, Pros work 19 or 23. I just confirmed it with an Airbus sim scheduler. That being said, most schedulers will work with you if you insist on commuting. The paid move to Memphis area is also a great deal, if you can stand living in the MEM metro area. It makes the pro sim and line pilot jobs so much easier.

No problems, just trying to get accurate info out. I obviously think the Pro Instructor deal is a good way to get in, as I have 3 1/2 years in the schoolhouse (back then, you didn't go to the line unless there was a newhire class, hence the extra 6 months.) And I did take the move.

Quick question, do the sim instructor guys get relocation packages to MEM? If so, why don't the line pilots get the same package?
Thanks |
cuz its not in our CBA and they don't have one.

That sucks

Back in 98, there was a move among the professionals to get representation from FPA. Then president MW wouldn't even consider it.

What is the best way to get on with FedEx Corp if you do not have an Executive or upper management refferal. I meet all main line requirements but I am more interested in corporate? To get my Resume on the top of the list?
