Default Vice Chair message in Positive Rate

According to him, 75 guys are flying the 76 in IND and only getting paid 75 rates. Whats up with that? Is there a loophole that big or has the Company gone off the deep end when it comes to interpreting the contract?

I am not quit sure that is what he is saying. I think he is saying MEM 75 guys are flying IND 75 trips that should be in the IND 76 bid pack and thus pay WB. Maybe we need better lawyers. I hope we get a sympathetic arbitrator.

Two sets of trips in 75 Capt bidpack that are scheduled with MEM and IND 76 FO's! They are taking liberty with the wording of the 76 LOA!

So, I'm hoping that 767 pilots flying 757 trips still get widebody pay. Is that correct?

76 pilots should always get widebody pay (doesn't matter whether they are flying a 75 or 76).

75 pilots should get widebody pay if they are flying a 76 trip even if it is in a 75. What matters is what the trip was originally designated as.

What the company did was create FO only 76 pairings and paired them with 75 Capt pairings. The Capt pairings are listed as AUG in the 75 bidpack

Yes so on some Ind pairings one pilot (Capt from MEM) is getting narrow body pay and one pilot is getting heavy pay in the same cockpit.

Expect more of these shenanigans as the only way to get HKG and IND pilots consolidated in both the 75 and 76 will be to pair MEM FOs with IND/HKG Captains and vice versa. Hopefully any deals the company wants to make this easier will fix this loophole. Such deals in HKG would not require a vote.
