You are right...sort of. For what they pay I would have never started there in the first place....but I did cancel outbase at a thru stop and go to the hotel because of lack of catering does that count? I would do it again in a heartbeat. And there is no way I would fly a 91 add on at the end of a trip.

14 CFR 121.434 provides that 100 hours of consolidation (hours in the airplane) must be completed within 120 days (of the type ride, in most cases). This includes the required 25 hours of IOE.

A check airman can extend the period to 150 days, with a line observation, generally done at the end of OE. The problem will be getting the 100 hours in the 150 days, if several months have elapsed between the type ride and the start of line training. A return to the simulator may be required to complete another proficiency check to reset the clock.

We just had a couple LCA and sim instructors leave for various reasons. That's the reason for the delay.

Wow what an experience with WAG. Skype interview went fine, they seemed nice enough. Told them directly i am only interested in a Captain slot. While i am not typed nor have widebody time, i have more than enough quals and a left seat on a widebody waiting for me albeit it back overseas.

So i come to find out via my circle that they actually do not hire into the left seat in this case and i saw the old bait and switch coming into play. After my flight to MIA cancelling and the lovely training coordinator by the initials R.A. calling me and speaking to me like i was a POS, it took all i can not to tell him to basically go and F himself. Never in 25 years of professional flying have i ever been spoken to like this and i sure as hell won't start now.

Wrote a nice email telling them about my wonderful experience via phone call from this person, never heard back. 100 percent know now i made the right choice.

They probably thought you were arrogant, demanding a captain slot with no type and no widebody time. I think most American companies would of reacted the same way. I think most pilots would also have little empathy.

It's obvious from your writing that you weren't offered a captain position, though apparently not obvious to you as why. A quick review of your posts leaves no doubt. Let's face it, death threats to forum members?

ANA JP Express or Air Japan??

This is you.

Arrogant, too.

Sounds like the employer may be better off without you.
