Most regular flying lines aren't scheduled for over 68 hours of flight credit. That's academic for new hires because they very likely will be on reserve. For that, YMMV. If a lot of people are being junior manned as posts allude to, it's not too much of a stretch to see a reserve breaking 68 hours due to heavy utilization. If a reserve assignment extends you into scheduled days off, you'll be paid a minimum of 7 hours above and beyond the guarantee.(Or 7 hours added on to your accumulated FCH if you've already gone above 68 hours.) If extended trip encroaches more than 1 day into your off days, you get at least 6 hours per day for each subsequent day. HTH......................
