I was at the meeting and one thing that was said is the DC8 is on a short leash, no surprise there. Bob Morgenfeld, Bob Gray, Bob Boja and Jeff Walling gave presentations and fielded questions. It was a contentious meeting over all;the union disagreeing strongly with Bob Ms statement that an international proffer can be posted without the unions approval. The numbers mentioned were 2 airplanes with a third airplane to be added by the end of the year. Initial crew numbers to be 14. Some of those crews may come from Miami.
There are things that are being studied such as tax implications, retirement computation, health care coverage and legal representation etc.
The company seems to want this partnership,and that is how it was described, with ANA.
