Default Amazon 767 paint scheme

Heads up!

Talked to atlantic models and they were caught off guard about 761 being painted in the amazon scheme. According to them they had "sources" where they could get the file. (no doubt this is top secret back alleys of Miami kinda stuff)

They would however greatly appreciate a picture if anyone happened to see it before it enters service in the weeks to come.

Don't get to excited. Spoke to someone in the Crystal Palace today and they said 761 was coming home in generic white and there will be a decal on the side.
Could be blowing smoke, but should know here soon. Crew went out today to get her.

I've heard of up to four liveries that may have been considered. There is a model of a 767 on an upstairs dispatch desk with a sort of coppery-brown color on the fuselage, tail, and winglets, and with a giant AMAZON logo in black letters, but that's the only one I've seen, if it's even one that's been actually considered. It doesn't have the arrow connecting the first A and the Z, as I would expect for anything at least semi-official.

I was told 761 would return as a white tube with the easily-replaced bumper sticker on the side as well. Sure wish we'd keep at least one 767 in a "real" skin, even if it had to be the same as the Combi's, if not our old beautiful blue colors, for charters and the like. 791AX could sure use some attention. It's embarrassing taxiing that thing around during the daytime at big airports!

Airliners.net will explode when the new Amazon livery is revealed.

Probably a white tube with the easily-replaced sticker on the side so they can remove the sticker and put an ABX sticker on.

I was in AZ this wk and saw ATI's white a/c. Yes, it's as white as it can be, they were just starting to decal her on Tues. As mentioned, word is that Amazon is still working on what they want to do and the design. Most likely will end up being 'sticker' size for either the tail or rear portion of upper fuselage. All subject to changes, but I wouldn't expect anything spectacular at the initial onset of things.

I've coined this practice of slapping on a decal as "the decal du jour". It certainly does nothing to improve morale....
