Default Strike Vote: A resounding mandate

Today a resounding mandate has been given to the Union by the Atlas pilot group. The strike vote passed resoundingly with a 99.6% YES vote. This is a remarkable show of unity, with a collective force that is impossible to ignore. Our hope is that the growth that we all desire can be implemented smoothly, and without disruption. Nobody wants a strike. Yet, we did not arrive at our current destination without cause or merit, despite the unique angles espoused by those who seem to prefer hostilities.

To quote a great President... we desire peace, but a hostile opponent requires that we force peace through strength. We only ask to be paid what we are worth according to the dictates of market forces. Our commitment as crew members that has allowed you to make profits and pursue these new ventures is done on the backs of some of the hardest working, dedicated pilots I have ever known. It would be a travesty to continue losing many of these fine individuals to the market forces you continually ignore.

We desire your success... as you show your desire for ours.

Peace.
