I heard last week there was a day that ATI couldn't make one amazon flight and they had an emergency return to DFW on top of that.

ATI IS hiring

Wasn't an emergency return. The Capt left his new iPad in our Dallas crew lounge. Next to our "provided" breakfast buffet.

If it was any OTHER airline I would know you were joking. Here it makes total sense.

Yeah maybe next time one of your check airmen who is performing a line check for your company he will not abuse our jumpseat June 30, ILN-SEA. Since your company provided transportation is so precious, I recommend you use it and save yourself the embarrassment of asking.

Not flaming you clutch, just curious? What was the egregious violation with the check airman from ATI riding the js?

You can't ride in the jump seat off line on company business. He was going out there to do a line check.

To amplify: the said check airman told the crew he was jumpseating to Seattle for personal reasons. Then admitted when arriving at the same crew hotel that he was conducting a line check. So basically he lied. He's blown jumpseats for his fellow airman....what do you expect from someone selected from ati management.

So are you saying we no longer have a reciprocal jumpseat agreement with ABX?

motorclutch 07-12-2016 04:22 AM

You gotta be ****ting me. The guy abused the jumpseat. He should have had a ticket if he was conducting JV business. But I wouldn't expect you to understand. Oh u see you are losing two 757's. Guess we won't have to worry about those two jumpseats.

I don't know why you keep trying to open this can of worms- ABX pilots have much more to lose when it comes to jumpseats. Why don't you just leave it alone?

Ban that guy from the jumpseat if you want, but if you keep all ATI pilots from jumpseating then you'll learn the meaning of "reciprocal". I don't jumpseat, so personally I don't give a f%$*, but if one of my friends is left standing on the ramp when he's just trying to get some extra time at home I'll respond accordingly.

How about we just don't go there?
