Chilly...
Start painting with the "Bob Ross" method. It takes practice but when you get good, you can start selling off your paintings. Watch an episode!

Happy Painting!
I enjoyed watching Bob Ross back in the day! Didn't he pass away? God rest his soul.
After a long week of work, my ex would often come into our bedroom on Saturday morning to find me propped up on the pillows with my coffee watching Bob Ross. He'd ask me what I was doing and I would reply, "I'm learning how to paint happy little clouds" Call me a freak, but watching his show in bed on Saturday morning, as well as the cooking shows on Sunday morning, always soothed and relaxed me after a week of intensity. I think it was the quiet uncomplicated methodical instruction on his show, as well as the cooking shows, that just zoned me out on those Saturday and Sunday mornings. Try it some time after an intense week! It might work for you too!
Bob Ross rules!

Sissy cars.
1975 FJ-40 Land Cruiser - severly modified! Don't mnd the dust, this is the first time she had seen the light of day in almost 5 years The 36" tires get replaced next year with 39s. EVERY nut, bolt, screw, fastener, part, etc. has received my TLC. It'll be completely finished in Mar/Apr (after 5 1/2 yrs). Moab, Rubicon, Tellico - look out!

Interesting ride. How do you get the power from the top two wheels to the bottom two? Also--doesn't look like you've got much ground clearance below those bottom two wheels.
Also--Fedexbuscapt--what jet do you fly? What seat are on you?

RY,
Thrilled to hear the great news! Cathay will be quite the adventure!
And yes...we got some DAMN good sim guys. Part of the reason I even got into the business was the hit/miss nature of finding quality dudes. GA is definately one of the best!

FJ Cruiser - love 'em, (some friends of mine were off road "guest" test drivers here in the US just before they hit the showrooms), but I already have a pretty good "out of the box" off road daily driver - double cab Tacoma TRD. Been trying to convince momma she needs an FJ Cruiser but she's getting a Dodge Mega Cab 2500 w/ a Cummins to pull her horse trailer next week (I'll borrow it to haul my 40 to the trail).

Hopefully flying WILL be my side job soon...
If it turns into a regionals job, I plan to bid the lowest reserve I can, for as long as I can while continuing to write software on side (and keep my family above the poverty line). Once I'm making the same as I am now and don't need to write software anymore (I'll keep it up just in case...but then it will be the hobby). With the extra time I'll start a punk cover band, anyone play drums? bass?

Normy, do you know anything about the 2006 VW Passat? Mine has a series of niggly little issues. The dealer even called Germany many times, but alas, nothing can be done. Otherwise, it's a great car.
