New airline service DEN-MEM
MEMPHIS, Tenn. (AP) - Denver-based discount carrier Frontier Airlines is adding another city to the list of those it serves.
Officials say Frontier will begin flying to Memphis this May.
The airline will have two daily nonstop flights from Memphis to Denver, plus two other routes to be announced.
All of the routes will utilize the 114-seat Airbus 318s.
Frontier spokesman Joe Hodas says the company has been wanting to go to Memphis for a long time, and will start with more service than usual when connecting with a new city.
Its other service in Tennessee is to Nashville, where it offers three flights a day.

"A lot" is an understatement. We have at least 250 that commute out of DEN and COS combined. Hopefully the Frontier flights will be good for commuting. The FX jumpseats are very competitive. Usually full Monday nights, weekends, and the return flights are full weekends and Tuesday AM. The biggest problem though is the parking at the ramp. 16 spots for those 2 50 pilots.

If they use the Airbus for MEM, atleast it has 2 JS's. And unless there is another F9 guy, it's first come first served. Atleast everytime I ride on them it is. Just call their res line and make a listing in advance as an offline non-rev. When the agent asks for your airline, just give them your 2 letter code. Depending on location they may not accept a walkup, and you might have to be checked in 45 mins prior to dep time. Don't know is this is standard, but it is when I try to get home.
They have always treated me great and I'm grateful to have them serve my domicile.
