Default UPS New Hires

To all you new hires, or soon to be new hires I pose this question.

Should I bring a car to training? I live about a 7 hours drive away from SDF and was considering bringing my truck to training in a couple of weeks. Do you think this is a good idea? Is there parking available at the training center? Does UPS frown upon this? Thanks.

Can't wait to start,

FIT59

Being only 7 hours away, you should definitely drive down your truck. Yes, you can park at the training center.

It has been a while since I was a new hire, but I think most people who live within a day's travel still bring in their own wheels.

Welcome to brown!

Absolutely do it. I finished training in Dec and one of the guys in my class drove from DEN. It was worth it to him, it will be for you as well. Congrats!!

Welcome FIT59, there is plenty of parking at the training center. I would make the drive with your own car, it will be well worth it!

Default Definitely drive...

I started back in November and can tell you that most folks drove. It'll come in very handy to have your own vehicle.

Welcome aboard!!

What years?, I was in the 53rd Avn Regt '89-'93. Many days in the field as LNO. I have been curious also.
