Don't they fly you on your day off so you can have crew rest prior to your operating flight? No thanks. If you're going to be stuck on a coach seat in an RJ....might as well be the exit row making 2 or 3X the pay. But we know you aren't serious....surely.

Only a stupid friggin idiot would NOT care about home basing. Either you live on base or have a living hell of commuting.

Wow... just WOW. Please tell me these people do not seriously think that home basing is worth at least $50K+ a year?? First off, greater than half their trips start out of domicile (combi type trips). These people have to be airlined into position anyway, so they don't use home basing. They get NO value out of it. Secondly, you can buy a LOT of airline tickets (for commuting) for way less than $50k. But using this line of thinking, your leadership has convinced you to undermine an entire industry.

Just think of scrapping home basing as a cost saving for Hete. My recommendation to ATI MEC.... brush up on your jumpseat etiquette!

To the trolls and to MEC of ATI: you had your chance for homebasing as presented by IBT, but Nooooo......instead you elected to be the Lone Ranger and rebuffed any reasonable approach to consolidate. Well Tonto, that train you hear now is being driven by IBT....JV can't save you!

Wow. Home basing costs the Company an average of just over $7300 a year. As an ABX pilot I have NEVER been required to go to CVG to commercial, I have always flown from home. I can't believe the idiocy on this blog. Look at the entire contract. My $340,000 income this year will probably buy a couple airline tickets. Not sure we want some of that group diluting our product.
