Default Key Lime Jumpseat Policy

I was trying to jump seat on Denver Air Connection. It is owned by Key Lime Airlines. I was told by dispatch I cannot jump seat on their company if my airline doesn’t have a reciprocal agreement. I guess one of Denver Air Connection pilots was denied a jumpseat by Delta Airlines. The dispatcher ( a very nice guy) called the captain of the flight I wanted to jumpseat on but he denied me. I understand that he is the captain and it is his airplane but why take it out on other airlines? If your ****ed off at Delta then deny them. My company takes unlimited jumpseaters with reciprocal agreements and at the Captains discretion can take any other jumpseater without an reciprocal agreement. I hope Key Lime and Denver Air Connection reevaluate their policy. I won’t take out my frustration out on Key Lime pilots to deny them a Jumpseat. There still welcome on my Jumpseat.

Talk to your Jumpseat Committee / Coordinator. You'll get more results that way

In my 32 years with the airlines, I have never denied a jumpseat to anyone.

I wonder if the gate agent will even be able to list someone if they aren’t in the system as having a reciprocal. I ran into this problem with I flew pt135 cargo. SWA and Cactus were the easiest to work with. I couldn’t get past the gate agent with DL, UA & AA.

Now that SWA is using MyID90 you won’t find it easy there either.
