How is seniority determined in a new hire class...and what’s the timing between phases look like if you’re on the more junior end of the spectrum?

Seniority is by age.

For my class, Indoc was roughly 4 weeks followed by around 1 week at home, and then another 4 weeks of Fixed Base and Full Motion Sims. We then had a minimum of 7 days at home before starting IOE.

The time between Indoc, Sims, and OE is really just hit or miss depending on class size, sim availability, and check airman availability. We had guys with only 48-72 hours from Indoc to Sims.

It's a good company, and getting better. Great crews, Great Instructors, and the equipment is very well maintained.

September class, how much time did you get between receiving CBTs and your class date? Was it enough to get through all of the CBTs if you also had a full time job at the time? Or even just, enough time to get through the CBTs?

Im a new hire myself..4 months now since 1st day of training..the wife will be happy moneywise I can guarantee you that! Good quality of life working here and money is great! Will LOTS of overtime opportunity if you are into that...no one will drag you to the finish line in training, however, they WANT to see you finish. They need you and they will do everything in their power to help you succeed. This is 1st airline for me and it was an intense training, but with hard work comes hard reward. The folks here are super professional and they appreciate one who comes prepared and studies hard. And they will say that to you too! In my humble opinion the contract is the least of your worries right now. You will learn everything in detail when you get to class..

And be thankful because this is really an awesome company with great people!

Does anyone know if the class slated to start on 8/10 did indeed start or has training been delayed due to virus restrictions?

I haven't heard anything new, but am keeping an ear to the ground when possible. I can repeat the scuttlebutt you probably already read somewhere that the rumor is we're hiring a total of 40, and it sorta looks like they're going through in batches of 8. Which would seem to suggest 8 in July, 8 in August, 8 in September...etc? Obviously can't confirm, but I hope you're all here sooner rather than later.
