Lots of 1st time Charters, but prices are too low to be sustainable. They need to educate new customers that the $11K charter they got is really a $17K charter.

With more people wanting to fly private post covid world there is probably going to be a bigger push for companies who will fly those who don’t have the means to fly private today. What would be a short $12,000 trip would be demanded down to no more then $1500 or less. Charter for the everyday average person.

I touched on this in the Blackbird Flightsharing thread. It generated spirited debate to say the least. I only got called ignorant once but by APC standards that's not too bad. LOL. My basic premise is to allow flight sharing for aircraft that are 6 seats or less and don't require a type rating. I'm for the public's freedom to choose FWIW.

1- this article sounds like whining from some in the industry that they may now have to compete

2- the industry is too overly regulated causing costs to be artificially high. Get the government out of the way.
