Do you still start over at 1st year pay when you switch equipment or contracts? Some of the guys I fly with that used to work for Ryan hated that part of the deal.

Nope, not anymore. All that was eliminated in the new contract. I hated that part as well.

Bob,

Officially, hiring mins. are ATP minimums. I couldn't even begin to give you an idea of their hiring demographics, but a B737, B757/B767, or a DC-9 (MD-80) type rating with some PIC time will get their attention.

Having a Freight Dawg mentality helps as well, since over 80% of the pilots have done their duty with the USPS/Emery systems on the beloved B727. (The good ol' days will never return, unfortunately.)

A job there is not for virgins, if you catch my drift.

I looked on the current employment opportunities for Ryan International, and it didn't show that they were hiring pilots. Are they hiring? Where did you hear this from?

Ifly86N....Unfortunatly i dont have a type or the pic time. However i do have an FO that can walk my stuff in. I also worked at Emery air(not worldwide but at RFD working the Ryan flights so maybe that would be a stand out deal). I did fly on demand cargo for awhile and it was kinda nuts but only cause of the call out, other then that it was ok. I dont mind the schedule to much as long as its the week on week off or fairly close to that. Do you happen to have the new pay rates? I think it was $57hr starting for 757 guys, how much is the guarentee? Thanks for the help.

Can anyone provide an update on Ryan? Turnover, retirements, hiring, new hire seat locks, general comments, QOL?

Thanks...

Update on Ryan International from anyone? Are they still working on getting the two 777s?
