The company just sent out a training schedule that includes at least 3 more new hires (MD-11 fo's). We haven't heard an exact total number, but 20 has been batted around.

How can I apply?

I was told that there may be something on the web site next week. You can always mail a resume in too. I would still check the web site too.

there should be a link out on the web somewhere. It came out about 2 month ago.

That link was closed when we filled the December class.

Any update on hiring for this round? ..... how many, when, former ATA guys, has it happened already, etc.

Site's still open. Probably won't even be calls going out until site closes but numbers would be nice to know.

Amen to that. I would be down there washing his cars, mowing the lawn, serving Margaritas, whatever it took.

If he's like the majority of us - just drop off a case of good beer and your resume - that should be about all that's needed.

Why stop there? We all like a good [deleted] job. Have some self respect. If you're qualified you'll get the call. Prostituting ourselves is the problem with this industry.

Hey World is a good outfit which is why I recently applied. Don't forget to attach everything as one doc, pdf is the easiest.

My comment was tongue-in-cheek, however, getting to know someone for the sole purpose of a job recommendation is called '@ss kissing.' There once was a day when qualifications mattered, but call me old fashioned.

That's funny. Because, it was blaringly OBVIOUS that the car washing, lawn mowing and margarita making comments were tongue-in-cheek too. Yet you chose hypocrisy. I was at World in a past life and I will attest that qualifications definitely mattered. Otherwise, if one somehow made it through the interview, the unqualified would get washed out in training.

Never flew the scooter but in C-141s we said the non essential bus was the one on which the navigator rode out to the plane. :)
