National's profile on APC now shows hiring for 747FOs. Has everyone been recalled? What is year 1 pay? There aren't any scales posted? How many 747s are being operated in house now?

Doesn't ATI have a few guys furloughed?

Heard them over the gulf working with Muscat Control this morning. Are there aircraft being operated by National or Air Atlanta crews?

They are national crews and they are national aircraft I meet some of the crew in DXB looks like the 747 are over seas a lot they have always been owned by national the iceland thing was to get up and going now they are N tail they now even have a pax 757 flying reg sch flights 7 days a week for the mil . Looks like they are doing some flying most government contract stuff all the names they go to end in Stan lol good group of pilot I don't know more than what they said but good guy. Their is a cool picture of one of the 747 on the ramp in Japan cool paint job for a cargo aircraft . They also told me they have a few 757 combi coming soon more government work Im guessing .

Their website doesnt show any pilot positions in the employment opportunity section. Anyone know why APC shows them as hiring for the 744?

10 days off a month to fly a 747! Where do I sign?

Kikuchiyo 07-10-2012 07:58 AM

I have a friend working there. He talked to the Chief Pilot, who wrote to me and said that they are using an agency in the UK for all pilot employment and all new-hire pilots will be based in Dubai. Straight from the horse's mouth as of late June.

how are they gonna work that .....Dubai crew base.... guess that will preclude them having to buy tickets each way each month for all their crew members.... saw one of their gucci jets in LGG last month for several days.
