Grape-Nuts - it contains neither grapes, nor nuts. Discuss.

Man, I'm getting old. I knew those guys when they had fresh ATPs. Their Dad was not a pilot but was big in freight out of YIP. They have come a long way. People with connections at YIP will always have work. See Connie Kallitta for the ultimate example of that.

Discussing.

I know 2 PFE's that went to National. There's no home basing, so you make your way to and stay at YIP on your own dime. Management told them that once they were finished with training and online, they wouldn't have to worry about having to get a crash pad or hotel @ YIP. However, after a few weeks of being online, they still had to hotel it on their own dime in YIP.

Anyway, they both jumped ship and went to ATI.

I really don't have a dog on this fight, but it's funny how "the other" company is always better than the one in question...

I haven't a dog in this fight either. In the interest contributing, I was just relaying info given to me that was relevant to the thread topic. I never said or even implied that one was "better" than the other.

The 747s aren't theirs. They're chartering (Air Atlantic?) from Iceland.
