Big hit.

Sorry for the furloughed, but in the long run you will be much happier at your next job. World stopped being a great place to work a long time ago. Good luck.

About half the company is furloughed right now. Not looking good...

Are there rumors of another round of furloughs?

I believe at its peak, around '07 or '08, the list was approaching 475. That included all - LOA, FE's, Checks, Management... I could be wrong though.

The July 2009 seniority list had 517. It included FE's, SO's, LOAs, etc.

In the summer of '08 WOA acquired 2 MD-11's from the shutdown of Gemini Air Cargo and also hired about 60 current and qualified refugees from Gemini. (myself included) That's likely what brought the number up from the level you remember to the 517 peak.

Best of luck, World people. I enjoyed my time there, but definitely had the impression management wasn't in it for the long haul.
