What higgi8f6 said.....I just did the interview with Omni and it proceeded just as was reported by the afore mentioned.
No nonsense, straight forward with an honest description of what's going to be expected of you and what you can expect from them.
I was told by the gentlemen that intervened me that I could expect to be assigned to the 777 as I have the PIC type. I couldn't care less which aircraft I get because I know it's a crapshoot as to the quality of flying on either type as that changes season to season in the supplemental's. However, if you're a young guy looking to build time and learn how to land the big jet, try to get to the 767. 777 guys will likely have to travel to the sim every now and then to get landing current.
So, what you really want to know; My group of five are all swimming in the Omni hire pool, but I was out of the room when that was explained to the group so I didn't hear that first hand. I was told the early May class is full.
Among our small group there was not a common thread of background, total hours, type ratings or experience, we were all over the map. So apply if you want to interview.
The most important advise I can give here is to order the Chicken Grill at the Mexican restaurant.
I will also mention that I was very impressed with the Omni operation in Tulsa.

You would know the answer if you worked here! Again I guess you don't work here
obob, you are a tool. I bet you are stuck at OY and want to pi$$ on anyone coming here or on anybody bettering themselves by going to a major. You are pathetic. Omni in not a bad place, its not a great place either; but how many other non schedules are still around. It will get better. Since I joined Omni in 2008 there have been at least 12 non scheduled/charter airlines go out of business. We are still around.
