Default ERJ Sim location

Hi I will be started indoc soon and was seeing if anyone knew where the current sim locations are? I have heard it can vary. I also heard something about bidding for locations...seemed odd.

PHX, HOU, STL, and CVG.

You bid for slots out of what simulator spots (and locations) are available.

Thanks! Seems odd, but whatever works. I did my ERJ 170 type rating in STL before. Wouldnt mind going back.

Just curious, why would you come to CommutAir if you already have a 170 type rating ?

I havent flown 121 in a few years and hated republic when I was there. All the other carriers that fly the 170s have bases that wouldnt be an easy commute (17 daily flights to and from EWR vs 5-7 at other places) Skywest has an ATL base that I would love, but they only fly the CRJ 200s out of there. At the end of the day, being able to commute the easiest made me decide on C5. I cant move to base. The commuter hotel deal isnt bad either. I need some recent 121 time and 121 PIC time to move on to something bigger and if the fleet growth pans out then all the better.

Yeah, out of MCO. I know the united stuff is booked up, but I had to commute a lot to EWR before when I was based in LGA. They would start some trips in EWR and would shuttle us over there, but I elected to just commute straight in. Trying to get to IAH from MCO usually meant a trip through CLT to connect and getting to ORD was never fun either. I refuse to do 2 leg commutes.
