Default See the forest for the trees, please!

Pleaseeee don't get bogged down and get tunnel vision w Aviate. Anyone here should have their apps out EVERYWHERE. If I were accepted in Aviate and got an interview, and then a CJO and a class date at any of the ULCC's, you can bet the farm that I'd absolutely take it and not look back. The risk of being "Xjet'd" is just too great.

Just to be clear, I'm not criticizing Aviate, but rather stating that it should only be looked upon as a supplement to what I've stated above.

Sadly, I only credited 73 hrs with 12 off. Absolute junk.

With that little time off, I should be crediting well into the 90's. SMH

Yup that’s what I have been getting, credit between 75-80 and block around 50-60. Absolute garbage especially when that 12 days off turns into 9 or 10 because of commuting.

If you don't like it leave. Plenty of other Regionals hiring now. That's the beauty of America, choice.

Oh I plan to, just answering someone’s question and letting him know what to expect before he/she comes here

That's good. The more people that leave the better the new contract should be. Well that's how it's supposed to work.

Good luck with that contract 3 years from now.

I would reach out to the scheduling committee with your concerns. The trips out of IAH are very inefficient right now. We were told when IAH opened up that the trips would average 5:00 a day. They are nowhere close to that. Some of that comes from UA, some from our crew planning. I know the company asked UA to find us more cities for crossing over between IAH and IAD/EWR to help with the efficiency problem.

As far as the contract, I know you talked to a CA about it. I would wait and see what the negotiating committee update says before letting the pessimism set in.

I don't know what is going on but I would be willing to bet that we will have a TA in the next 12 months. That's just my personal feeling.

Do you so think that The mainline partner is positioning itself to compete with lcc companies? They have a bunch of 737 slots coming up and their ads in Denver are interestingly targeting Southwest

OO is ramping up for 200 new hires a month. They want 7000 pilots on staff by Aug 2022 just to cover attrition.
