In he FAQ section of the announcement they said that UAX employees will not be required under United’s policy since they are not employees of United, but that they are working with the regional companies and encouraging them to embrace the same policies.

C5’s EWR base and all that flying is finished in 2 months. So to answer your question, no. I would be surprised if C5 did any Canada flying again after losing their Mexico flying… which lasted 1-2 months. Granted when the 175s come online, that could all change.
