Default C5 training ?

How is C5 initial training for new hire.
i heard they are the ONLY 121 regional air carrier who does NOT offer AQP training.

How is washout rate? Heard they offer 13 sim lessons then checkride.

any current pilots can share their experience about the training program. It’s not the quality of Skywest training but is the training at all progressive in learning or is it all self learning and your on your own

thanks

Thanks for the passive aggressive post. If Skywest is so much better maybe you should wait for them. Also, you will be scrubbed way before 13 sims.

I think they are pooling all maneuvers, LOFTs and any extra sims allowed for the 13

Straight answer, per the GOM you are allowed 3 extra sims (13 total) for a newhire FO before you are flagged, or worse.

C5 was my first airline and first type rating. I had no trouble other than the normal pain as a newbie in the first 5-6 sims. Systems were a breeze and dare I say actually fun. You couldn’t struggle w Indoc if you tried.

Also, you complain about no AQP and that Skywest training is better so are you trolling?

Surely you wouldn't want to work there as they are obviously a garbage company.

Go fish somewhere else.

Definitely a Skywest Troll judging by their post history

Probably just found out who is getting all the flying that used to be their 200 flying.

OO here, more 175 flying and less 200 flying is fine by me. Enjoy those clapped out 145 boys, you guys are totally killing it right now. 😃

Cause legacy HR departments really care what type of jet you fly.

Skywest Kool aid is strong today.
