Quote: It seems like you are both from XJT so there is only your numbers and ours so far. This is what we were sent yesterday.

The official numbers can be found on flyingtogether and yes, our actual ccf is closer to 95%.

Quote: You two appear to be comparing apples to oranges. I don't know what the difference is between CCF and ACCF definition wise, but numerically it appears to be about 2.91%.

Why can't fruit be compared?

Thanks, I had no idea that much information was on there. It shows 95.8% for April. We have 8 cancellations before the day even starts, all ERJ, all listed as "crew not available". I am surprised it is only 8 flights with so many planes collecting dust in Albany.

Now that I think about it, C5 would not include those planned cancellations in our SCORE cards because they are outside of the pilots' control, and they would unfairly affect our performance bonuses.

When's the last time you were delayed or canceled that was within the pilots control?
The flights that get covered by other carriers aren't getting counted as cancels. I belive that's the cause of the disparity.

Those are still controllable cancels regardless if a pilot has the ability to control the outcome.

That's my point.

You missed my point. Yes, the "no crew" flights are controllable cancels for the airline, but you can't affect the pilots' performance bonuses with flights that they never had the chance to operate. The SCORE cards show our score, not the airline's. I think that is why the numbers are different.

The flights that are being covered by other airlines ARE being counted against us, according to the numbers on flyingtogether. As far as United is concerned, we start the day at 95% CCF with those 8 daily cancellations.

I understand the reality of the situation but it says a lot when a legacy airline decides to decimate its best performing regional partner and transfer the flying to another knowing there will be a lot of start up headaches that passengers and employees ultimately have to deal with.

I think you should be asking Skywest why xjt is not getting any of the contracts and not UA or Delta. I don't think that the xjt problem is coming from the legacies.
