Default How many months is short call for new FOs?

Hi! I’m interested in applying to Compass this month. 2 questions:
1. For how many months can a new FO expect to be on short call/2 hr call out? Does this vary by domicile?
2. I currently have 1225 hours and am not eligible for my ATP til 1500- will Compass interview when 3-4 months out from having enough time?
Thanks for any insight you can provide!

Actually I have flown with FOs that went right to a line recently. So figure a month or less.

You can apply and interview as long as your within 6 months of accepting a class.

I can add to that, finished IOE in early March, sat one month of reserve (short call) which most of the time I wound up on trips anyways. Then went right to a line.

Good luck and welcome aboard!

What kind of hours are new FOs flying? The recruiter mentioned a lot. Not sure what that is.

I would say pretty much everyone is in the 90s. Some get pulled off trips when they time out for 100 in 672hrs (28 days). Most hover in the 90s. I think most of the pilot group in general is flying a lot these days

And then there is Poser... One of the more junior line holders with a 76 hour line with 15 days off. *confused shrug*
