17 lines less this month in LA according to pbs. Ouch and we haven’t even lost planes yet

Is that below the historical average for September? Or just less than July?

We’ve been right around 140 all year. Seems like a big drop to the mid 120s.

As it stands that’s close to 50 FOs on reserve.

We also haven’t received the bid packet yet though so it could change maybe?

I've heard they will be losing or reducing their United flying in the near future. Gojet is also having a hard time getting the certs for the 550.
Doesn't seem like a very good lateral move.
Seems TSH(holdings) is desperately trying to stay afloat by trying to make us play musical chairs within TSH.

CPZ COO hated that memo and didn’t want it to go out. He doesn’t want anyone to leave, even for G7 or TSA. Those memos were for the people that are jumping ship ASAP. They figured if you’re going to leave you might want to think about their other companies instead of OO/9E/ENY etc.

3 planes out for heavy mx. Do you guys even read the emails from the company updates in newsletters or the alpa pairing analysis? Or is it just more fun to throw out dramatic speculation.

The plane thing was a joke, but it is just a reality check. Last month the last partial line was line 148. We had about 170 on the senority list. This month the projected lines are in the low 120s, by my math that means the final partial line will be right around 130.

That went from 22 on reserve to about 40. All I was pointing out

Same story on the CA side

And to think a few months ago I was happily saying I can’t wait to get a line as a CA, around October hahaha

I’ve been here 30 months and have spent 20 of them on reserve, I must be doing something wrong

I think the fickle filler of fate gave you the finger. Since getting off IOE in June.2018, I have been on reserve a total of 12 days.

Absent the present unpleasantness (and losing some block hours to weather, recurrency training, and other people’s IOE buy-outs) I would have been looking at upgrade next bid. But that’s OK, I already have near-DEC hours and will soon have DEC hours. Even worst case I have a type rating and nearly 1000 hrs of 121 time I didn’t have 18 months on my resume.

But yeah, ‘Hawk, your timing was certainly suboptimal. Hope you are luckier at your next place.
