Can someone send me the Compass Contract?

My ground school date is Oct 12th and I would like to read through it before I go.

Anyone else going Oct 12th? I was scheduled for Oct 26th but they moved me up.

What is the general atmosphere like around there now? I am back in class in another week and have been hearing some bad stuff. Are there a lot of people getting really ****ed off and beginning to look elsewhere.
I have already left one decent job and turned down another interview for here (need PIC TIME). It is beginning to look like a bad move. THe other option is to stick it out for the needed PIC time then leave. I hate saying that cause I was looking for a good/fun work enviornment with as little complaining as possible. But I should have thought...YEAH RIGHT NO COMPLAINING IN THIS INDUSTRY?!?!?!!?

There would be a lot less complaining if the company would just pay people what they are supposed to and on time.

I've said it before, and I'll say it again (and I'm sure my colleagues will agree) - you'll work with a great group of pilots. Everyone has already been through a lot at other places and for the most part, people are grounded and bring a lot of experience to the table, without too much of an ego. That being said, you can find people complaining about just about any carrier on here.
Though a lot of my posts may come across as such, I assure you that I only state facts and not opinions. Unfortunately, you'll be hard pressed to find someone that disagrees with me about the current state of affairs at CPS. Yes, you will get a fairly quick upgrade - just do not believe anyone if they tell you when and where it will occur, and at what pay rate. There are no guarantees, and of course that makes it nearly impossible to budget for those uncertainties.
Good work on your part in talking to the pilot group before coming here. The initial batch of us didn't have that luxury, so we're learning the hard way. Trust your instincts, but do whatever is best for you. Everyone always has their own unique situation that must be evaluated.
And yeah, people senior to you are getting the ball in motion to jump ship...The minute every airline (except for AA) began hiring, CPS lost leverage but didn't seem to get that memo. Best of luck to all.

LifeNtheFstLne is correct!

I was one of the first class at CPS, and all I had to go by is what they told me in the interview and offer letter. Both were big fat lies! I didn't have people posting info online, like here, but just figured the company had to honor the conditions they've stated for the job. Remember the contract was not inked at the time I got hired, so we had no reference to go by. I left a good airline to come here but I thought this company, with all their promises, offered a better life without commuting. I was obviously duped, and know I can't even pay my mortgage! I'm usually positive person, and never come on this site to *****, but I feel its my duty to make a public service announcement about this company. Those of you who are looking at coming here do what you have to do for you and your family, but you have been official warned about this company and come here at your own peril! Perhaps these issues will or will not be resolved in a month or two, but maybe then would be a better time to look if this company would work for you.

So what is first year pay for a FO at CPS?. Are the rates posted here accurate?

Wow. Just wow. That's insane, and the worst part is that until we get a grievance committee we really don't have the infrastructure in place to challenge it. Paying Captains FO pay is such a blatant disregard of the contract that you'll definitely get your money back, it's just a question of when. In the meantime maybe somebody should take them to small claims court...

What are you thinking, you will all be at a major in a year or two and be 787 captains in 20 years! You are Golden.
