Not allowed to drop any trips, courtesy of them adopting parts of the NWA pilot contract. You have 2 options: Trade or *cough cough*.

That really sucks! I have never worked at a company that you cant drop trips at. Seems pretty stupid that you cant. Thanks for the heads up...or is that heads down with hands around the ankles again.

are the trip trades automated? if they aren't yet is the a date that they aree suppose to be?

To my knowledge, not yet. But I hear things will be automated eventually.

Can anyone point out to me CX pay provisions in the CBA? Thanks!

Any of my esteemed CPS colleagues used CASS with success yet? Specifically American? I need to grab a flight next week. Thanks.

LNtFL,

I tried to use CASS on NWA this monday and it wasn't working then. 3.5 hrs in a FA jumpseat staring down a row of pax the whole time was good fun :-)

American would not let CP on the flights because CPS is does not have an agreement with American jumpseat. Being in cass did not change that. There is no update out on new jump seat agreements. Good luck let us know if you get on.

How do you guys get on Shuttle or Republic flights that are operated as United Express since we have reciprocal agreements with them? I know the UAL system won't let us.

Annnnnd also, I know CASS allows for cockpit riding, but what if I'm just an offline jumpseater riding in an extra seat in the back? Would American give me a lift then?

JungleBus 10-06-2007 10:57 PM

American is only gonna let you on if you have a ZED (ie nonrev pass). To ride as a jumpseater - in the jumpseat OR cabin - there needs to be a reciprocal agreement in place. We have rather few of those at this point, mostly with regional carriers...I had to use Air Canada to get back from Frankfurt this week because we don't have recips with UA, US, DL, or CO.
