Dont get me wrong. We have a lot of great people here but i just cant justify our slogan of Best in Class...That's the cockiest thing I've heard my whole life..

I think he's implying that Delta will furlough and there will be flowbacks.

Sorry - didn't mean it as a shot to Independence at all; I'd just hate to see another otherwise good company with great employees go under for a few bad management decisions.

I don't think there will be any furloughs at CPS, NW or DAL. Doesn't seem to be in the cards. But our fate at CPS is anyone's guess.

I wish we would hear something concrete from our union and from management.

All we get is BS from mgmt and a weekly safety e-mail from alpa and in DTW, a weekly e-mail from Council 20 that doesn't even pertain to us.

But at least have flying jobs and are making the big bucks.

There are currently more factors pointing to NO furloughs than there are that furloughs will happen. Lets hope the economy at least stabilizes so we can limp through this year unscathed. The flowback is a thorn in mgmts side in regards to furloughs. It is costly to furlough for them now and lets hope it stays that way.
